Main Contents
Shanghai International Youth Science and TechnologyExpo has been successfully held 9 times since 2005. This year's Youth SciTechExpo will be held in the form of a combination of offline and onlineactivities. Offline activities include Exhibitions, Contest, Exchange and soon. Online activities will be presented in the form of a virtual pavilion, withexhibition halls of Youth SciTech Innovation Achievement Exhibition and SciTechInnovation Education Resources Exhibition that display the achievements of domesticand foreign youth science and technology innovation education and of scientificand technological innovation.

1. Exhibition
The Youth SciTech Innovation Achievement Exhibitionand SciTech Innovation Education Resources Exhibition will be presented at thattime and the achievements of domestic and foreign youth science and technologyinnovation education and of scientific and technological innovation will bedisplayed. Teenagers and exhibitors can register and submit achievements andexhibit materials online. Teenagers and exhibitors selected for the exhibitionwill be invited to Shanghai and receive an independent booth online and offlineto display and publicize their innovative achievements.

2. Contest
The "Science & Technology Stars ofTomorrow" Invitational Tournament will be held, in which participatingstudents are required to work in teams to create engineering & intelligentcreative design works. Please form teams based on schools, with three students perteam. Online registration is required. After verification, the selected teamswill be invited to Shanghai to participate in the offline competition.

3. Exchange
Principals andteachers of Science and technology share new ideas and methods of scientificand technological innovation education, and discuss the new development ofinnovation education in the future. Principals and teachers of Science andtechnology need to register online to submit the outlines of their speeches andrelated materials.
Once selected to speak at the summits after thereview, principals and teachers will be invited to Shanghai to participate inoffline exchanges.

Chinese traditional culture and Shanghai (-style)culture experience and exchange activities will be arranged for participants tolearn about the essence and features of Chinese and Shanghai local culture,experience the integration and innovation of technology and culture. This willhelp to inherit and spread outstanding traditional Chinese culture, and enhancethe cultural awareness and self-confidence of young students.

Participants and conditions

1.Currently-enrolled full-time secondary schoolstudents born between 2006 and 2011 from various countries (regions) areinvited to participate. Participants from each country (region) could form ateam based on the school. The maximum number of participants in each team is 5,and at least 1 student's scientific and technological innovation results (worksor research results) should be submitted for exhibition and exchange. 3 of themwill participate in the "Science & Technology Stars of Tomorrow"Invitational Tournament. There shall be no more than 1 instructor and no morethan 1 team leader of the participating team, who shall be a full-time schoolteacher or relevant person in charge.

2.The SciTech Innovation Education ResourcesExhibition invites Shanghai Youth Scientific Innovation Practice Station,Shanghai Student (Youth) Science and Technology Innovation Education Base, theeducation bureaus of all districts of Shanghai, Hi-tech enterprises and youthinnovation education firms and institutions to participate in the exhibition.Exhibitors will be chosen after evaluation.

In order to further improve the level of thecompetition and expand its international influence, we sincerely inviteinsightful people from all walks of life to work together to explore the valueof the event and create a win-win situation.
The cooperation includes but is not limited to:Recommending schools or teenagers to the Organizing Committee to participate inthe competition; Title sponsorship, Accommodation and Catering guarantee, Eventvenue (exhibition, competition, exchange), Clothing and Equipment purchasesetc. The Organizing Committee will provide opportunities including but notlimited to: brand exposure, market promotion, institutional co-construction,resource sharing, district-school linkage, etc. Welcome to contact with the OrganizingCommittee.
