上海位于中国东部，地处长江入海口，面向太平洋。2024年底，上海行政区划面积6340.5平方千米，常住人口2480.26万人。它与邻近的浙江省、江苏省、安徽省构成长江三角洲，是中国经济发展最活跃、开放程度最高、创新能力最强的区域之一。

Shanghai is located at the estuary of the Yangtze River in eastern China and faces the Pacific Ocean. By the end of 2024, Shanghai covered an administrative area of 6,340.5 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 24.8026 million. Along with the neighboring provinces of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui, Shanghai forms part of Yangtze River Delta，one of China's most robust, open, and innovative regions.

In recent years, Shanghai has positioned itself at the forefront of reform and innovation, striving to establish itself as a globally influential hub for science & technology innovation. Throughout its ongoing efforts to deepen comprehensive educational reform, the city maintains a global vision and future-oriented perspective to advance high-quality education. Its science & technology innovation education emphasizes inspiring students' curiosity and imagination while igniting their passion for science. By nurturing innovative thinking and practical skills, it consistently strengthens the scientific competence and innovative capacity of the youth, leveraging science & technology innovation to support their individualized growth.

2026年上海国际青少年科技创新挑战营暨“明日科技之星”国际邀请赛(以下简称“青创营”)，即将于2026年7月在这座美丽的城市举行。届时，来自世界各国和地区的同学和老师们将欢聚一堂，围绕“科技·创新·梦想”的活动主题，畅想人类生活和科技发展的未来，共享科技盛会！本届青创营将搭建各国青少年科技爱好者探究学习合作交流的舞台，架起科技教育与管理者交流借鉴科创活动先进经验的桥梁。

The 2026 Shanghai International Youth Science & Technology Innovation Camp and "Science & Technology Stars of Tomorrow" Invitational Tournament (hereinafter referred to as the "2026 SIYSTI Camp") is scheduled to be held in July 2026 in Shanghai. This gathering will unite students and teachers from across the globe under the theme "Science · Innovation · Dream", to collectively envision the future of humanity and technological progress while sharing in this grand celebration of science & technology. The 2026 SIYSTI Camp will provide a stage for young science enthusiasts worldwide to explore, learn, and cooperate, and acting as a bridge for educators and administrators to exchange advanced experiences in sci-tech innovation activities.

上海国际青少年科技创新挑战营暨“明日科技之星”国际邀请赛源自2005年起举办的上海国际青少年科技博览会，2024年，活动全面升级为上海国际青少年科技创新挑战营，至今已成功举办十届。本届青创营主体内容包含交流和竞赛两大板块，交流板块包括青少年科技创新成果展示和路演、科技教育圆桌汇、科技教育资源嘉年华、好奇心讲堂、云端展示、Vlog创意行动、文化交流和人工智能项目互动体验等，竞赛板块包括“明日科技之星”国际邀请赛、科学辩论团体邀请赛等。活动将采取线下线上相结合形式举行。

Shanghai International Youth Science & Technology Innovation Camp and "Science & Technology Stars of Tomorrow" Invitational Tournament trace its origin to the Shanghai International Youth Science & Technology Expo, launched in 2005. In 2024, the event was comprehensively upgraded to its current form and has now been successfully held for ten sessions. The 2026 SIYSTI Camp will be held in a hybrid format and encompass exchange and contest, including the Youth Sci-Tech Innovation Achievements Exhibition and Roadshow, Sci-Tech Education Roundtable Discussion, Sci-Tech Education Resources Carnival, Curiosity Lecture, Online Exhibition, Creative Vlog Initiative, Cultural Exchange, Interactive AI Project Experience, "Science & Technology Stars of Tomorrow" Invitational Tournament and the Science Debate Team Invitational Tournament.

（一）交流板块

(I) Exchange

1、展示

1. Exhibition

举办青少年科技创新成果展示和路演、科技教育资源嘉年华，届时设立多个特色展区，展示国内外青少年科技创新教育成就以及科技创新成果。青少年、参展单位线上报名提交成果及参展资料，经审核入选展览的青少年及参展单位将受邀前来上海并获得线下线上独立展位，对创新成果进行展示宣传。

The event will feature the Youth Sci-Tech Innovation Achievements Exhibition and Roadshow, along with the Sci-Tech Education Resources Carnival. Multiple booths will be established to showcase achievements in youth sci-tech innovation education and related outcomes from both China and abroad. Young participants and institutions can apply online by submitting their projects and documentation. Those selected through the review process will be invited to Shanghai and provided with dedicated booths to present their innovations both online and offline.

2. Exchange

举办科技教育圆桌汇，校长、科技教师交流分享科技创新教育的新理念、新方法，探讨未来创新教育的新发展。校长、科技教师在线报名提交发言提纲及相关资料，经审核入选交流活动的校长和教师将受邀前来上海参加线下交流。

The Sci-Tech Education Roundtable Discussion will be convened, enabling principals and teachers to exchange insights and discuss new ideas and methods in sci-tech innovation education, while exploring future development for innovative education. Principals and teachers may register online and submit the speech outlines and other related materials. Those approved through the selection process will be invited to Shanghai for in-person exchange.

3、体验

3. Experience

举办中国传统文化、上海海派文化体验交流活动，了解中华文化的精髓和海派文化的特色，参与人工智能项目互动体验，体验科技与文化的融合创新，传承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化，增强青少年学子的文化自觉与文化自信。

Participants will engage in traditional Chinese culture and Shanghai-style culture exchange activities, gaining an appreciation for the essence of Chinese culture and the distinctive features of Shanghai-style culture. They will also take part in Interactive AI Project Experience, exploring the integration of sci-tech and culture. These activities aim to inherit and promote fine traditional Chinese culture while strengthening the youth's cultural awareness and confidence.

（二）竞赛板块

(II) Contest

1、举办“明日科技之星”国际邀请赛，参赛学生团队合作完成工程和智能创意设计作品。以学校为单位组队，每支队伍3名学生参加，在线报名，经审核入选队伍将受邀前来上海参加线下比赛。

1. The "Science & Technology Stars of Tomorrow" Invitational Tournament will be conducted, requiring student teams to collaborate in developing engineering and smart creative design works. Schools will form teams of three students each through online registration. Teams selected through the review process will be invited to compete in person in Shanghai.

2、举办科学辩论团体邀请赛，参赛学生组建辩论队，围绕环境、能源与人工智能等前沿科技和人类共同挑战，用英语传播科技成果，开拓国际视野与创新思维能力。以学校为单位组队，每支队伍3名学生参加，在线报名，经审核入选队伍将受邀前来上海参加线下比赛。

2. The Science Debate Team Invitational Tournament will be held, where students will form debate teams to discuss frontier technologies and common human challenges including environment, energy, and artificial intelligence, while presenting sci-tech achievements in English. This aims to expand their global vision and innovative thinking. Teams will be school-based, consisting of three students each, with online registration available. Approved teams will be invited to Shanghai for onsite competitions.

六、参会对象和条件

VI. Participants and Conditions

1.邀请世界各国（地区）在2008-2013年间出生的全日制在校中学生参加。每个国家（地区）以学校为单位组队，每支参会队学生数最多5人，至少提交1件学生科技创新成果（作品或探究成果）进行展览展示和交流，其中3人参加“明日科技之星”国际邀请赛，3人参加科学辩论团体邀请赛。参会队指导教师不超过1人，领队不超过1人，须为全日制学校在职教师或相关负责人。

1. Invitations are extended to currently-enrolled full-time secondary school students born between 2008 and 2013 from countries (regions) around the world. Each country (region) will organize teams based on schools, with a maximum of five students per team. Each participating team must present at least one science & technology innovation achievement (either a project or research outcome) for exhibition and exchange. Within the team, three members will compete in the "Science & Technology Stars of Tomorrow" Invitational Tournament, while three members will take part in the Sci-Tech Debate Team Invitational Tournament. Each participating team may include up to one instructor and one team leader (full-time school teacher or relevant person in charge).

2.“科技教育圆桌汇”诚邀全球中小学校长、科技教育骨干教师参与，共同探讨科技创新人才培养模式的变革路径。报名者需提交开展科技教育实践的相关材料，展现课程设计、教学创新与教育成果，经组委会审议后择优发放参会邀请函。带队参加青少年科技创新成果展示的教师和领队可同时申请参与科技教育圆桌汇的交流研讨，分享一线教学经验与成果。

2. Invitations to the Sci-Tech Education Roundtable Discussion are extended to principals and leading teachers from elementary and secondary schools across the globe to jointly explore innovative approaches for nurturing talents in science & technology innovation. Applicants are required to submit documentation of their sci-tech education practices, highlighting curriculum design, pedagogical innovations, and educational outcomes. The Organizing Committee will review applications and extend invitations to selected candidates. Teachers and team leaders accompanying students for the Youth Sci-Tech Innovation Achievements Exhibition may also apply to join the Sci-Tech Education Panel Discussion to share firsthand teaching experiences and achievements.

3.“科技教育资源嘉年华”诚邀上海市青少年科学创新实践工作站、上海市学生（青少年）科创教育基地、上海市各区教育局、高新企业或青少年科技创新教育企业机构参展，评审后择优参展。

3. Invitations to the Sci-Tech Education Resources Carnival are extended to Shanghai Youth Scientific Innovation Practice Station, Shanghai Student (Youth) Science & Technology Innovation Education Base, education bureaus of all districts in Shanghai, high-tech enterprises, as well as youth sci-tech innovation education firms and institutions. Applications will be reviewed, and selected applicants will be offered exhibition opportunities.

为进一步提升办赛水平，扩大国际影响力，诚邀社会各界携手合作，挖掘活动价值共创共赢。

In order to further improve the quality of the event and broaden its global influence, we earnestly invite collaborative partnerships from all sectors of society to explore the event's potential value for win-win cooperation.

合作内容包括但不限于：向组委会推荐学校或青少年参展参赛；冠名赞助、住宿和餐饮保障、活动场地（展览、比赛、交流）、服装和器材购置等。组委会将在活动过程中提供包括但不限于：品牌曝光、市场宣推、机构共建、资源共享、区校联动等，欢迎社会各界与组委会联系洽谈。

Potential collaboration may include but is not limited to: Recommending schools or youths to the Organizing Committee for exhibition and competition; title sponsorship; accommodation and catering support; event venues (for exhibition, competition, and exchange); and procurement of apparel and equipment. In return, the Organizing Committee will provide opportunities including but not limited to: brand exposure, market promotion, institutional partnerships, resource sharing, and district-school networking. Interested organizations are welcome to contact the Organizing Committee for further discussions.
